About

Welcome to FarnersBooks Blog. We are so happy you stopped by.

FarnersBooks was started in March, 2004. At the time we were a home schooling family with four children. We were looking for an at home business that would be something the whole family could get involved with and love. A family member was visiting one day and shared how she had sold her textbooks on Amazon and she showed us how she did it. We picked up a book from our desk, listed it, and it sold in fifteen minutes! The rest is history. We have gradually grown into a full time business with approximately 10,000 listing in our inventory. We have store fronts on Amazon, Alibris,Barnes & Noble, Valore, Biblio, Half, Abe Books,Ebay, and our own site FarnersBooks.com. We are constantly adding new inventory so our selection is always full of new finds.  We would love for you to take a look around and come back and see whats new.

James and I (Melissa) are parents of 7 children now. In 2007 we became foster parents and we shortly after blessed with the opportunity to adopt out three youngest babies. We are very active in our church, children’s school & sports activities. Thankfully, our book business is a family effort. We all love finding and researching new titles. Having a house full of books for the last 9 years has greatly benefitted all of us. It’s a wonderful feeling to know we have found so many new homes for our books.

You can rest assured that when you buy from FarnersBooks, you are buying from real people, with a real love for what they do. We guarantee your satisfaction or we will refund your order. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Thanks for stopping by,

The Farner Family
